Cost to Train with “Cro Cop” for a Week? Try $24,000

What’s the going rate for a week of training with one of the most-feared mixed-martial fighters anywhere in the world?
If it’s UFC heavyweight Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic you’re talking about, you can expect to pay a cool $24,000.
The package — which includes airfare, five days of private training in Filipovic’s private gym in Croatia, and gifts from the PRIDE 2006 Open Weight Grand Prix winner — is currently available on auction site eBay. The opening bid is $16,000, and the “Buy It Now” price tag is $24,000.
The seller, “megirl3,” says her name is Nina Filipovic. (Mirko’s wife’s name is Klaudija.)

Filipovic (22-4-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC), a PRIDE veteran who recently signed with the UFC, made his Octagon debut at UFC 67 in February with a win over Eddie Sanchez. He faces Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 70 on April 21, and if victorious, is expected to face UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture for a title shot this fall.
