The full fight card includes:

Ambrose LH: Fabio Costa vs. Carlos Fuentes FW: Georgi Karakahyan vs. Armando Sanchez HW: Tony Sylvestor vs. Cain Velasquez
The World Cagefighting Organization, an upstart MMA organization owned by former professional boxer Bruce Bellocchi, has announced its Jan. 12 fight card — one that includes notables such as Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Ricco Rodriguez, David Loiseau, Joe Riggs, Mark Kerr and other former UFC and PRIDE fighters.
The event, which is co-promoted by Valor Fighting and Primal MMA, takes place at the San Diego Sports Arena, a 16,000-capacity venue located in San Diego, Calif.
In the night’s main event, veteran fighter Vernon White takes on Sobral, a former UFC light-heavyweight contender who was kicked out of the organization following a controversial UFC 74 victory over David Heath. After forcing a second-round tap-out, Sobral initially refused to break the chokehold and admitted to it in a post-fight interview. After being fined $25,000 and kicked out of the UFC, he returned for a win in December.
The event also marks the return of Mike Kyle, a former WEC fighter who was suspended indefinitely by the California State Athletic Commission after a brutal attack on opponent Brian Olsen at WEC 20. After illegally kneeing his opponent in the head, Kyle continued the baffling assault even as ringside officials tried to pry him off his dazed opponent.
Oddly, the event took place at an Indian casino and was not regulated, yet the CSAC was so disturbed by Kyle’s actions that it suspended him anyway. However, the commission reinstated Kyle in October. He’ll battle Rodriguez, a former UFC heavyweight champion, as part of the WCO’s main card.
A live Internet feed of the event will be available on the day of the event.
The WCO has already begun preparations for its next show, which will likely take place in April at the Astrodome in Houston, Texas.Source: http://mmajunkie.com/

The World Cagefighting Organization and Valor Fighting may have run into a few bumps in the road, but their event at the San Diego Sports Arena is set to move forward on Saturday night.
According to fight manager Ken Pavia, the event is now scheduled to feature nine bouts instead of the initial 12. Two of his fighters, Tiki Ghosn and Carmello Marrero, wound up without opponents and neither will fight. Ghosn’s opponent withdrew at the last minute and Marrero’s opponent failed to gain approval from the California State Athletic Commission.
Another client, Joe Riggs, was involved in a car accident after leaving the airport. “Joe is still fighting though,” said Pavia. “He has been cleared and is good to go.”
Ultimate Fighting Championship and Pride veteran Mark Kerr’s original opponent, Rick Roufus, was unable to gain CSAC clearance in time for Saturday night’s event. Hawaiian fighter Kauai Kupihea however has stepped in and gained clearance to face Kerr according to Pavia.
The evening features Renato “Babalu” Sobral against Vernon “Tiger” White in the main event and a heavyweight contest between former UFC champion Ricco Rodriguez and Mike Kyle, who is returning to action for the first time since being suspended following a disqualification against Brian Olsen in a 2006 World Extreme Cagefighting bout.

Breaking News: Saturday's WCO Event Cancelled Saturday, January 12, 2008
by Josh Gross (joshg@sherdog.com)
Saturday's Valor promoted World Cagefighting Organization card at the San Diego Sports Arena has been cancelled by the California State Athletic Commission due to funding issues, Sherdog.com learned Saturday afternoon.
Problems arose Friday evening after the CSAC learned that funding had not been secured to pay the athletes who were to compete on the card.
"At the eleventh hour, the commission was informed there were insufficient funds to pay the fighters, " CSAC executive director Armando Garcia told Sherdog.com. "In the end, we had to cancel the event."
A deadline of 10 a.m. PST was set for Saturday morning for Valor promoter Rick Bassman to prove that the fighters' pay was secured. After Bassman failed to meet the time limit, he was given until 12 p.m. PST.
In a last ditch effort to save the card, WCO officials tried to apply for a promoter's license, but there was not enough time to complete the lengthy process. At that time, the CSAC decided to cancel the event.
After a conversation with the San Diego sports Arena box-office, Garcia informed Sherdog.com that sales for the event were extremely low.
As per CSAC regulations, fighters are guaranteed 20 percent of their purse, which must be paid by Jan. 18.
